Contemplation is a reclamation painting. I love using found objects to use in my paintings be it going to thrift stores ad finding old canvases that have terrible paintings that are begging me to cover them. This one is an old piece of plywood I used for making other art. It had globs of resin and paint all over it that made a dynamic surface to work on. The figure is of a model that I do not know nor know her name however this made one of the most mode striking images that I have ever made. This is a piece I have witnessed many people walk by and stop in their tracks just to gaze at this striking piece. Taking stencil art to a new level! Enjoy!
